Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Program Manager – Cards & Payments to lead and deliver strategic initiatives across the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in card-based payment systems, along with proven experience in managing large-scale programs within banking or financial services.
This role requires end-to-end ownership of program delivery, ensuring alignment across business, technology, and vendor teams while maintaining governance, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Delivery & Governance
- Lead end-to-end program delivery for cards and payments initiatives.
- Define and manage program plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, reporting standards, and SLAs.
Payments & Cards Domain
- Drive initiatives across card issuing, acquiring, tokenization, digital wallets, and payment integrations.
- Ensure smooth implementation and enhancement of payment platforms and banking systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the central point of coordination between business, IT, vendors, and channel teams.
- Facilitate communication and ensure seamless collaboration across all stakeholders.
- Manage vendor deliverables and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
Agile Delivery & Execution
- Support Agile delivery models, ensuring flexibility and continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple priorities and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor program progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
Required Skills:
Core Expertise
- Strong experience in Cards & Payments domain (mandatory)
- Proven track record in program/project management within banking or fintech
- Experience in payment systems, integrations, and digital channels
Functional Knowledge
- Deep understanding of card issuing, acquiring, tokenization, and wallets
- Familiarity with payment gateways and integration frameworks
Management & Delivery Skills
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Expertise in risk management, governance, and delivery tracking
- Experience working in Agile environments
Soft Skills:
