Role Overview:
We are looking for experienced Backend Software Engineers to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. The role supports secure, scalable, resilient banking applications across digital, mobile, and internet banking channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend services, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performance banking applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services aligned with enterprise API standards and governance frameworks.
Cloud & Security
- Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure using cloud-native services and container platforms.
- Implement OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API security, encryption, and secure coding practices.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases across enterprise applications.
Delivery
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Support release management activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, code reviews, and CI/CD implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years building Spring Boot microservices.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, and Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience with Azure services including AKS, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, distributed systems, resilience, and fault-tolerance mechanisms.
