Role Overview:
We are looking for Software Engineer – Backend Development with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies to build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend services for enterprise banking applications. The role focuses on developing microservices, REST APIs, cloud integrations, and event-driven architectures while following modern engineering and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development
- Design and develop backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Build secure RESTful APIs and middleware services following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
- Develop scalable, event-driven solutions integrating Kafka and cloud-native services.
- Ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable code through code reviews and automated testing.
Cloud & DevOps
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Integrate IAM, Lambda, EKS, SNS, SQS, KMS, Secrets Manager, and ElastiCache services.
- Manage GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, and advanced GitHub Security.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
Quality & Security
- Develop comprehensive JUnit test cases to maximize code coverage.
- Resolve security findings from penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
